Energy Decisions Limited was founded by Roberts Lapsevskis.
Roberts has a civil engineering background and worked in various countries as a civil contractor for over 15 years. He noticed that many buildings are not designed correctly for the climate or intended purpose of the building which results in problems further down the line. This led him to complete a Masters in the Environmental Design of Buildings at the Welsh School of Architecture, Cardiff University in 2016. Inspired by the course, Energy Decisions was born in 2017.
Roberts holds memberships with the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) and the Chartered Institute of Building Service Engineers (CIBSE).
All electrical contractors are regulated and BS7671 18th Edition qualified. We undertake continuing professional development and are up-to-date with the latest standards and guidance.
We hold public liability insurance up to £2m and for larger projects this can be increased accordingly. Please contact us for further information.
On bigger projects we work closely with trusted third parties and sometimes we receive referrals or make referrals to other organisations.
Customer service is really important to us. Below we have listed our company values:
- We design and provide the most appropriate installation for the parameters required. This means that we look at future-proofing installations without overdesigning the system (this is where the system is designed with larger capacity than you will use);
- Safety is important. We are always cautious and do not take short-cuts;
- Customer guidance and helpful tips. This area is developing rapidly and there is a lot of information available to assimilate in order to fully understand how to utilise your products effectively. We not only install the products for you, we also take the time to explain to you how the installation interacts with other electrics, give you guidance on how to operate your new equipment properly and user handy hints and tips.
