We are very proud to be working closely with Canadian Solar to install the first EP Cube in the UK. This is an amazing single phase true all-in-one system with no additional gateways or controllers. This system is unique in a way that it can be commissioned at any capacity up to 7.3kW and offer back-up (EPS) capabilities. Battery storage can be expanded in 3.3kWh increments from 6.6kWh to 19.9kWh. The system was coupled with 14 high efficiency 465Wp PV modules and a very sleek birdproofing system. For this project we designed and installed a system that can fit in unused part of the garden. In early design stage we modeled system performance without cutting down bushes and removing fencing. Once customer was happy with layout we proceeded with installation. Keeping Inverter and Batteries under the modules allowed to not only follow latest PAS 63100 recommendations and keep batteries out of the house but also minimized impact on residents of the house. Here we have a hybrid inverter with bi-facial PV modules and DC connected battery storage that will supply electricity to the house during power-cuts.
We have only good things to say about Rahvolt system - modular system comes in 10kWh battery modules. On a single phase installation it can be expanded up to 40kWh of total storage capacity. System comes with a hybrid inverter meaning you only need one inverter to connect your PV modules and batteries. Inverter can also provide emergency power supply in case of power-cuts. Our customers love how slim the battery modules are - considering that most houses will only require one or two battery modules, this system doesn't take much valuable floor space and can fit neatly on the wall in a garages or outside!
