For residential systems batteries typically come in modular form factor - starting from 2 kWh modules up to 13.5 kWh modules. They can form a uniform block with an inverter (called all-in-one) or they can be separated from inverter. While the most common battery storage total capacity would be around 10 kWh, it can be increased to tens of kWh. Larger systems are available for commercial projects.
Battery storage systems come as AC coupled or DC coupled. AC coupled system means that batteries are installed with it's own inverter and are separate from a PV system. This is popular with older PV systems that are receiving Feed-In-Tariff. In a DC coupled system batteries and Solar PV modules share the same inverter. Most of the time this is better option for new installations.
We understand that every customer is unique. That's why we take a personalised approach to every project we take on, designing custom solutions that meet your specific energy needs. That could mean designing a system with a back-up power or integration with power diverters or EV chargpoints.
